Marble and Dolomite stone options for all available StoneSheets® materials except Slimslabs®
Marble is a metamorphic rock made of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. Geologists use the term "marble" to refer to metamorphosed limestone; however, stonemasons use the term more broadly to encompass unmetamorphosed limestone. Marbles does take a polish well, but will require maintanence or sealer to retain it's lusture; honing is not best due to the staining potential of the material. Marble is available for use in nearly every available stone veneer panel offered by StoneSheets Materials except SlimSlabs®.
